Finalists Announced for the Western Australian Export Awards 2025

Finalists for the Western Australian Export Awards 2025 have officially been announced, recognising the achievements of outstanding Western Australian businesses competing in international markets.
Now in its 37th year, the awards program celebrates the State’s exporting excellence, and the significant role local businesses play in delivering Western Australian innovation and capability to the world. This year, applications were received from 40 companies, with 42 per cent of applicants applying for the first time.
A total of 31 companies have been selected as Finalists across the program’s 14 categories, showcasing the diversity and strength of WA’s export sector including international education and training, agribusiness, sustainability, health, professional services, and creative industries.
A notable addition this year is the introduction of a new First Nations Export Award category, created to acknowledge the unique contribution of First Nations-owned businesses to international markets. Across Australia, the category has attracted applications from Aboriginal businesses committed to sharing culture globally.
Western Australia continues to lead the nation in goods exports, contributing $232 billion in 2024-2025, which accounts for nearly half of Australia’s total goods exports. Exporters remain critical to the State’s economic strength, diversification and global reputation.
Finalists represent a mix of emerging and established exporters, from family-run businesses creating jobs in regional communities to globally recognised innovators growing WA’s presence in international supply chains.
Category Winners and the WA Exporter of the Year will be announced at the WA Export Awards 2025 Gala Dinner on Friday 12 September. Category Winners will go on to represent Western Australia at the Australian Export Awards in November.
