WA medtech strengthens global connections at LSI Asia 2026

Eleven Western Australia (WA) medtech companies joined our Singapore office at LSI Asia 2026, connecting with more than 650 investors, industry leaders and commercial partners from across the global life sciences sector.

Events like LSI Asia create valuable opportunities to build partnerships, attract investment, gain insights into trends shaping the future of healthcare innovation and position Western Australia as a leading destination for health and medical innovation.

The conference reflected the growing demand globally for innovative healthcare solutions and the important role that the medtech sector across the Asia-Pacific region is playing in meeting this demand.

It was particularly important in helping the participating WA companies build international relationships and identify new pathways for growth across Southeast Asia and beyond.

This reinforced the importance of combining innovative technologies with strong commercialisation pathways, strategic partnerships and global market readiness.

WA was represented by:

  • Arthrolase
  • Cytophenix
  • Earflo
  • Innovate Medtech
  • Inova Medical
  • Lubdub Technologies
  • Marine Biomedical
  • Materia Health
  • Metabolic Health Solutions
  • Navier Medical
  • One Kidney

The delegation was also joined by Professor Sharath Sriram, Chief Scientist of Western Australia, Professor Kevin Pfleger, Director of Biomedical and Health Innovation at WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub, Peter Traianou, President and CEO of Emerging Health Connections and Leonora Nye, Senior Business Development Manager at Business Events Perth.

WA is home to more than 250 biomedical organisations and support services, five research universities with strong biomedical programs and a growing network of investors, researchers and industry partners working to bring new health technologies to market.
