Invest and Trade Western Australia’s (WA) Singapore Office recently partnered with Tourism Western Australia and Business Events Perth to host the Western Australia Tourism Trade and Investment Evening. 

The event brought together more than 60 investors, developers, industry leaders and government representatives, alongside a delegation of 12 WA tourism operators visiting Singapore as part of the Australia Marketplace Southeast Asia roadshow.

Discussions focused on WA’s reputation as a stable, secure and reliable destination for long-term investment, as well as opportunities to strengthen commercial partnerships across tourism, hospitality and related industries.

The event also provided a valuable platform for tourism operators to build new commercial relationships and expand market opportunities across the ASEAN region. 

Looking ahead, WA will continue to showcase its tourism and investment offering through a further two major industry events this year. Pair'd Margaret River, a food and wine festival between 19-22 November 2026, and the Asia Pacific Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) Summit, to be held in Perth on 10 December 2026.

Events such as this help unlock investment opportunities, support business expansion and strengthen economic and cultural ties between WA and one of the world's fastest-growing regions.
