WA Export Awards 2023
WA Export Awards 2023: International Education and Training Category Winner
Edith Cowan University is the winner of the WA Export Awards 2023 International Education and Training Category.
The International Education and Training Category recognises outstanding international success or learner/student experience in the field of education and training. This includes education and training services, expertise and curriculum.
Edith Cowan University (ECU) provides the ideal learning environment in a distinctive and inspiring campus setting for people who want to graduate world ready. Their industry-relevant teaching and research, supportive study environment and award-winning facilities enable ECU students to do more than just survive in this world – they thrive in it.
The International Business Operations team at Edith Cowan University developed ECU Unlocked, an out-of-the-box agent familiarisation tour initiative. Over 2022/2023, 13 regional cohorts of handpicked priority education agents from 28 countries have been invited to Perth for a bespoke program that introduces the "best of the west" whilst showcasing ECU's key selling points as a university and business partner.
This helped ECU foster their core partnerships to build a sustainable pipeline of quality students. In today's highly competitive international student recruitment landscape, ECU Unlocked has proven to be a successful initiative that has helped give ECU and WA the competitive edge.
